WHAT ARE THE CHAKRAS?
The seven chakras are the main energy centres of the body. When all of our chakras are open and balanced, energy can run through them freely, and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit. Chakra translates to "wheel" in Sanskrit, and you can imagine them like wheels of free-flowing positive energy.
Each chakra radiates a specific colour and relates to specific spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical aspects of our being. The lower chakras are related to Earthly matters such as survival, sex, and power. The top three chakras are related to higher consciousness, truth, intuition, and purpose. In the middle, the heart chakra bridges the two worlds with empathy, love, and compassion.
